Hyundai launches 4th-gen Tucson in India
On Wednesday, South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor launched its 4th-Gen Tucson in the country with prices starting at INR 27.69 lakh and may go up to INR 34.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The automaker has kept a target of selling 5,000 units per year of the new model in India.
The company had opened bookings for the new Tucson at Hyundai Signature outlets across India since July 18, for INR 50,000 and via the company website. However, the car comes at a waiting period of about 8-10 months.
The new gen model comes in two options; petrol and diesel powertrains mated with six and eight-speed automatic transmissions respectively.
These trims feature two-litre engines generating an output of 156 PS and 186 PS of power, respectively.
