New Delhi, April 1, 2019 : British motorcycle maker Triumph Motorcycles Ltd has announced a recall of certain models, affecting around 1,000 motorcycles in India because of an issue spotted in some of its bikes.
The recall is applicable to affected models include Headstock Tidy, Street Scrambler, Street Twin, Bonneville T100 and Bonneville T120. Changes and upgrades in indicator, main beam malfunction and a possible loss of engine power caused by the clutch cable contacting the main harness, resulting in damage to the wiring within the main harness will be carried out.
Previously, Triumph recalled over 12,000 motorcycles in the US for the same issue.
All the upgrades would be done at free-of-cost to owners and they have been advised to contact their local Triumph Dealer as soon as possible.
