India, March 25, 2019 : Hero’s most affordable scooter, the Pleasure has maintained its similar look over the years with only minor changes. It is also one of the highest selling scooters in its segment.
The updated 2019 version of the Hero Pleasure comes with a lot of new elements as opposed to its predecessor. The headlight and the front-end-features are a completely new design which is now more upright. Following the headlight, the instrument console could also get a revamp. It gets new side panels with silver inserts. The spotted scooter carries sky-blue coloured paintwork on the body. Other changes could include LED lighting and a few more tidbits. The new scooter could have lesser seat height than the current model to aid the shorter riders.
The Hero Pleasure is powered by a 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which will be powering the 2019 facelift as well. It makes 6.9 BHP and 8.1 Nm of torque mated to a CVT (automatic) gearbox. The mechanicals could also be the same 130 mm drum-brakes on both front and rear as well as the similar hydraulic suspension setup. The Pleasure will also get the Integrated Braking System (IBS) as a part of the upcoming safety upgrades norms.
The new scooter expected to be launch in April, 2019, priced at Rs. 47,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Pleasure competes with the likes of Honda Activa i and TVS Wego.
