New Delhi, March 7, 2019 : Japanese carmaker, Honda Cars on Thursday has launched 10th generation Civic in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 17.7 lakh to Rs. 22.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Civic is launched in both petrol and diesel engine options. According to the company, the 1.8-Litre i-VTEC Petrol engine mated to a 7-step CVT offers a power packed performance with great fuel economy.
The Civic diesel is being introduced for the first time in India with 1.6-Litre i-DTEC turbo unit from Honda Earth Dreams Technology series mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. The top end version of the recently launched Civic has7-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car also boast of 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat, dual-zone climate control, smart entry, multi-angle rearview camera and electronic parking brake.
On safety end, Honda Civic has ABS with EBD, vehicle stability assist, traction control, ISOFIX child seat anchor, dual front airbags and curtain airbags, and Honda Lane Watch. The car is available in 3 variants – V, VX, ZX and 5 colour options – Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red, Modern Steel, Lunar Silver, and Golden Brown.
