Birla Carbon, flagship of Aditya Birla Group elected Ann Schoeb as Chief R&D Officer

New Delhi: Birla Carbon, the flagship of Aditya Birla Group, yesterday elected Ann Schoeb as its chief research and development officer.

Schoeb will be answerable for the research and development functions at Birla Carbon and will be a part of the establishment’s senior management crew writing to John Loudermilk, chief operating officer, the establishment announced in a release.

”Ann brings a wealth of experience creating value through research and development in a variety of chemical industries. Her unique approach will accelerate our growth ambitions by helping our customers meet their aspirations,” Loudermilk stated.

Before becoming a part of Birla Carbon, Schoeb worked as chief technology officer at AdvanSix, earlier part of Honeywell’s Resins and Chemicals division, till 2016. Schoeb commenced her profession with The Dow Chemical Company at a post of research scientist and worked on several leadership positions over 16 years before becoming a part of Advansix/Honeywell in 2010.

Schoeb completed her BSc (Chemistry) from Minnesota State University, and also studied MSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
